Open: Fall 2014 Applications for The College Classroom at the CTD

Dear graduate students,

The Center for Teaching Development is now accepting applications for the Fall 2014 session of our teaching and learning course, The College Classroom.

This series of weekly, 90-minute seminars throughout the quarter is part of the Center for Teaching Development’s Preparing Future Practitioners program. The course is aimed at graduate students and postdocs who already have experience as teaching assistants and are interested in making the leap from grading, running discussion sessions, or leading labs to being the instructor-of-record at UCSD and beyond.

For those of you interested in participating in the Summer Graduate Teaching Scholars (SGTS) program, you must successfully complete The College Classroom before teaching in the Summer Session. We will run The College Classroom again the Winter 2015 Quarter but we recommend taking The College Classroom in the Fall Quarter to avoid any schedule conflicts.

For more information about the course and to apply, please visit https://ctd.ucsd.edu/2014/08/the-college-classroom-fall-2014/  Application deadline is September 5.
