Workshop: Applying to Academic Jobs in STEM

Interested in applying to academic jobs and want to find out more information about the application process? Join us for panels of professors who will give advice on best practices for applying and interviewing. The workshop for Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences graduate students will be tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 18), and the workshop for STEM students will be on Thursday, Oct. 27. Registration is not required to attend (but is helpful to the organizers!). Details are below; feel free to email me with any questions.

Professor Simeon Man (History) and Professor Danielle Raudenbush (Sociology) will provide tips on applying for tenure-track positions in the humanities and social sciences. They will discuss preparing effective application materials, interviewing strategies, and the job offer negotiation process.
