Directed Studies: The Recruiting Process

UC San Diego Extension has is planning to offer the Directed Studies in the Recruiting Process again in Winter 2017. This course is open to all UCSD students. The Recruiting Process is designed to give students the edge in conducting their job search campaign by providing insights into the roles of hiring managers and job seekers.

This class will introduce students to recruiting practices and activities of the HR department, the hiring manager, and the job seeker. Students will be able to work on crafting a resume and receive one-on-one feedback from the instructor. The course will also look at special considerations present in the recruiting and hiring of workers in the U.S and abroad.

This is a three-day intensive course running on Saturday, January 21, 28, and February 4, 2017 beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. each day. Anyone interested can find out more by clicking here.

Current and former UC San Diego students can also receive an additional $50.00 off the tuition fee with the discount code: “UCSDstudent”.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I have attached the course flyer which you are free to share.
