Interested in teaching at a Liberal Arts College, but not sure what to expect? Join us for a morning discussion and catered networking lunch with faculty and administrators from Middlebury College and Williams College, who represent LADO (Liberal Arts Diversity Officers), a consortium of 24 liberal arts colleges and universities. This is an opportunity to learn about careers at liberal arts colleges generally, and to get specific advice about how to prepare for the application process in advance as well as when you are actually ready to enter the job market.

 

QUESTIONING CAREER: DESIGNING THE LIFE YOU WANT

This unique, five-session series helps graduate students and postdoctoral scholars through the process of choosing a meaningful career path and creating the life they want. Each workshop includes a short lecture, small group activities, and assignments to help participants gain insight into their personality preferences, values, transferable skills, and personal goals. Participants are expected to commit to all five sessions throughout the quarter. There is a fee of $30 to cover a portion of the assessments and course materials.
