We invite you to join us for our annual Case Competition with UCSD. We will be holding our competition kick-off on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 6:00pm in the Roth Auditorium at Sanford Consortium for Regenerative medicine, followed by drinks at Bella Vista Cafe. There will be a short presentation that will enable you to learn more about L.E.K. and opportunities for PhDs at our firm, followed by the case proposal. We will be judging case presentations onFriday, June 26, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the Horizon Room at the Career Center. Staff members from L.E.K. Consulting will judge each team’s case presentation and the top two teams will be given prizes. There will be networking opportunities for students at both events. UCI SoCal Undergrad symposium

UCSD’s undergraduate researchers are all invited to a symposium focused on undergraduate research here in the Chemistry Department at UC Irvine, to be held Wednesday August 5! A day of exciting chemistry, with a session of posters from the undergraduate attendees, high-impact seminars from UC Irvine faculty members, a networking lunch, a Q&A panel with current UCI graduate studuents, and a tour of UCI Chemistry facilities and labs is planned. Fall Data Science Fellowship Opportunity

Program: The Data Incubator is an intensive 7 week fellowship that prepares masters, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM + social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for fellows and supported by sponsorships from dozens of employers across multiple industries. In response to the overwhelming interest in our earlier sessions, we will be holding another fellowship.

Locations: There will be both an in-person (in NYC, DC, SF) and online section of the fellowship. There is a common application for both the online and in-person sections.

Dates: All sections will be from 2015-09-08 to 2015-10-16
