ChemPAL Grad Student Research Panel! | Tues 6/5

Hi everyone,

ChemPAL invites you to its Grad Student Research Panel next Tues 6/5 at 5:30-7pm in NSB Auditorium

At the event, you will hear short talks from grad students about their research and how/why they decided to pursue it and grad school. You will also have time to ask your own questions about research, grad school, and more!

This is a great chance to see what research entails, check out some of the many areas of chemistry research, and learn how to get started. It is also an excellent opportunity if you are already involved in undergrad research and considering grad school.

Email chempal@ucsd.edu and check out our website (chempal.ucsd.edu) if you have any questions or want additional information!

Congratulations Neal!

“Neal Devaraj (University of California, San Diego) – Dr. Devaraj is a biochemist whose transformative work on the synthesis of artificial cells and membranes has created an exciting new field of research that aims to address one of the great challenges in synthetic biology. He has made several game-changing discoveries. Among his signature achievements is the development of new methods for labeling biological molecules, which are so widely used by researchers that reagent suppliers now include his probes in their catalogs.” http://ow.ly/3Gch30khddk
