Summer Research Opportunity for Physical Science Majors

Dear Undergraduate Students and Faculty,

I am excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the 2024 Undergraduate Summer Research Award. This competitive program (from June 24th to September 2nd) allows undergraduate students to submit a proposal, in collaboration with a faculty member, for a $7,500 stipend to support their summer research experience. This program is open to all undergraduate students majoring in the Physical Sciences (Chemistry/Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics). Students applying are required to work with a faculty member within the Physical Sciences to develop a research proposal and get that faculty member’s endorsement of the proposal.
